Hello Beth.

The Braille note will work with DSL. You will probably want to use wireless
anyway, so you will need a wireless router and you will set the router to
connect through point to point protocol, otherwise known as PPOE. The
router will handle the Internet connection, and the Braille note will
connect to the router.

I hope this helps.

Chris.

Subject: [Braillenote] DSL and BN

Hi, guys. Broad band is extremely slow at peak times because it is
shared--the more traffic, the slower it grinds whereas, with DSL, it is as
if you are the only user in your area, I was also told that there is no
perceived decreased download speed compared to broad band. What have your
experiences been with DSL? Can the BN even use DSL? Verison told me that
there is software to install, I replied that that was not necessary with my
broad band, since it is purely diagnostic. I was afraid it would interfere
with JFW so I took it out, after okaying that with my broad band
company--Cox. Thanks. Beth
