Peggy,

You had said something in a previous note about an IP address. Do you have the "obtain IP address automatically" parameter set to yes in the configuration file you are using for the hotel?

Subject: [Braillenote] Wireless in hotel still not working

Hi, all. Well, thought I'd give you an update on the wireless thing in the hotel. I've inserted and removed the card and done all kinds of resets, and it still won't work. The interesting thing is that when I first scanned for a network here at the hotel, it showed its network as well as my home network, which is about a thousand miles away. But now that I've done all the resetting and stuff, it just shows my home network and nothing about the hotel network. So either it's down, or there's a bug in the BN software. But at least I can do dial-up, which is vastly improved in 6.11.

Peggy
