Hi Sandra,

I find that it's easier to remove a PCMCIA card rather than a flash card.
It's harder to grip the card to remove it. If one has any sort of finger
dexterity issues, then the side slot is easier to manipulate. I'm glad
Humanware kept the slot.
Best Regards,

Les

Subject: [Braillenote] PC/MCI vs. Flash Cards

Is there a benefit to a PC/MCI card over a compact flash card? I know which
slot is for which in my BN and I want to buy one to use so I can then
transfer files from a PC without the frustration of Active Sync. From
reading the descriptions in the BN manual it seems as if they pretty much do
the same thing. What is the actual difference, and what should I consider
when thinking about which one to purchase? If you want to answer me
privately, so as not to clutter an already excessively busy list, pleas
respond to:

Thank you.

Sandy
