What you described is a thumb drive, they're also known as jump drives. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of CATNIP Sent: Tuesday, September 20, 2005 12:46 PM To: Braillenote List Subject: Re: [Braillenote] sd cards
Every day I read new terms with which I'm not familiar. So what's a thumb drive? We have something that looks like it's about the size of a pack of gum that fits into either my husband's or my USB ports on which we can move files from one computer to the other. Is this what you are calling a thumb drive? One of the reasons I'm opting for upgrading to the M-power is because of the USB ports. Have not had any success with Active sync on my BN qt. I don't know if this is due to a defective serial port cord but could never get it to work. I'm looking forward to my call from Humanware to send in the BN for its transplant to the M-power. ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.humanware.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote
