Well, you could do it on the BN, but if you're going to put the result
into a spreadsheet, why not simply do it right there in the
spreadsheet? Why aggravate yourself?
1. Make note of the original price.
2. Delete the info in the cell by pressing the delete key.
3. type in the correct formula, e.g. =19.95*1.06
4. Voila, you have the price, and you don't have to transfer from the
BN or anything.
5. Now if you *really* wanted to be spiffy, you could add a column to
your calculations and call it full price or total price. Go to the
incert menu.
6. Arrow down to collumns and press enter.
7. Label your column as suggested above, you might want to use the
autofit option in the format menu to get the thing to fit correctly.
8. Then put in your formula for your calculations, by using the cell
designation, e.g. =c3*1.06.
9. Go down to the next cell and do the same formula, e.g. c4*1.06.
Now, don't take me wrong, folks, the BN is an excellent machine, but
sometimes "Less is better than More". Sorry for taking up the list
with Excel trivia. As I say, why aggravate yourself. Let the
spreadsheet do the work. That's what it's made for, old Kelly!
