Hi Everyone, Okay the email attachment saga continues with some improvements. 1. I deleted the email database. I had to call tech support to get it back. Now that's it back the directory of services folder on the Keysoft system disk and the flash disk in the Windows folder on Keysoft in the Keymail folder on the flash disk is gone. However my email and Internet are still working.
2. After all of this the attachment problem continued. Interesting I was able to send myself two different keyword files as Braille keyword files to myself. I was also able to send myself the original file that started all this trouble as an attachment when I sent it to myself as a Microsoft Word file. The Keyword files that are sending as attachments okay are from different folders than the file that refuses to send as a keyword file. I'm sorry this is confusing. I'm curers as to how long my email and Internet will last without that directory of services file. I didn't think it was crucial to the BN since I have KS 6.11 on my BT model. The lady in tech support thought it was important. Maybe file size matters when sending out Keyword files as attachments? Another thing I tried which failed was to choose same source in the file types when sending the troublesome file as an attachment. At least I have a test file to send GW Micro. I know it works because I sent it to myself. I guess that's what I should have done in the first place. I'm still curious as to why some Keyword files send okay and others refuse to send. Thanks for any advice. By the way I tried the regular reset and the 4-5-6 reset after I had deleted the email database to get the directory of services folder back both failed to solve the problem.
