Hi Linda,
You'll get those errors from Bookshare books because the books are
scanned by users. That's nothing to worry about. Hint, if you look
on the book information page, it will usually tell you something about
the quality of the book. You can judge the numbers of errors you'll
get by using that scale.
As for erasing a book, here is a step by step guide:
1. From the main menu, go to the file manager menu.
2. press e for erase file.
3. Follow the prompts about drive, folder and so on. Select the file
you want to erase and press 'enter'.
4. You will be prompted by the system, "Erase book.brf? press y or
n."
Voila, your book is gone. The BrailleNote makes things truly easy
and simple to do. Also, if you want to look up what the manual says
about it, do this:
1. from main menu, press space with O.
2. Then press the letter u.
3. You will be prompted as to whether you want the table of contents
or the index. Choose i for index.
3. then, once you're in the index, press the letter e for erase, and
you'll find it.
Remember that you can always get help whereever you are by pressing
space with h, or ctrl-h, on QWERTY keyboards. At least I think it's
ctrl-h.
