I have no problem with the idea of having to buy an SD card and card reader in order to do upgrades on my mPower. For me, I'll need a card reader on the PC end as I don't have an SD card slot on the PC.

Just for comparison, we have two digital camera users in our household, and the very first thing they did before even leaving the store with their cameras was to buy extra storage cards. It was just a fact of life when buying their digital cameras--you need a bigger storage card.

That analogy just occurred to me, so I don't think it's unreasonable to find I need a storage card for my mPower product as well. I'm not complaining, but I just haven't gotten around to it yet. The only problematic thing is the whole idea of what will and what won't work with the unit. I think that's what scares me the most when buying anything as a peripheral.
