Hi All,

Well, I tried the suggestion of doing the 1 2 3 reset and freeing database
space before downloading email. And, here are my results.

After doing the just mentioned steps, I downloaded 204 messages to my PK.
I used my wireless connection and it took about five minutes. In case of
problems, as I usually don't download quite that many now, I did
elect to leave the messages on the server. I had a little under seven MB
free
on the flash disk when I started the download, and a little under six MB
after
completing it.

Now, when I first started reading the messages, after reading one and then
deleting it, it would take between ten and fifteen seconds for the next one
to show up. And, if I chose to just delete a message without opening it, it
would still take that ten or fifteen seconds to see the next message.
However, once I got down to one hundred and seventy messages, all those
delays stopped and the next message would show up right away, no matter
whether I was deleting the message after reading it, or just deleting it
right away.

Now, I'm not complaining here at all, especially as I haven't used any of
the other BN family members to compare against the PK, and certainly none
before the newer versions of Keysoft came out earlier this year. But,
rather, I'm just mentioning my results here. In fact, I'll rarely have a
need to download that many messages at a time; and, of course, should I
ever, I can always download part of my messages and stop and read them and
then download some more.
