Hi Steve, Here are some steps to try. Go into Keymail. Press r to read mail. Press space until you see the incorrectly named folder. Press backspace with r and type in the new folder name. If backspace with r doesn't work try enter with r.
Keymail folders aren't like any other folders on the BrailleNote. Their names are stored in the keysoft.ksd file in the dictionaries folder on the flash disk. There is no file which can be used to access the folders, they are only accessible through Keymail. HTH, and let us know how it works out, Sarah -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of stephen thacker Sent: Thursday, July 28, 2005 10:36 PM To: Braillenote Egroup Subject: [Braillenote] email help please Hi folks, I have a small problem. I have a folder I have created in the Keymail programme to save emails sent to me by my girl friend. The problem is, I've mis-typed the name of the folder and I want to rename it. According to the help menu, I shouldble to do this by pressing backspace with r. I've tried putting the cursor on tbe first letter of the name of the folder I waot to rename, but nothing happens when I press backspace with r. Can anyone help? I'm using Keysoft 6.11 with a classic BNBT. I look forward to any help.
