Hello Paul,
Battery charging stops when the charger thinks the battery is full. It
might be that the gauge is slightly out and/or that you're seeing a slight
variation on when the tap is turned off, so to speak. We do suspect that
this might be the case. Battery capacity is used to roughly calculate when
the charge should be cut and you will in most cases, notice the percentage
step up if the charger is plugged in again and the battery isn't at full
capacity.
