I use a BN QT as a terminal braille display with WindowEyes and I absolutely love it! I have gotten used to using the hot keys, and the home row becoming a braille keyboard doesn't bother me at all. Since I'm using my PC keyboard to input my writing, I am not using the braille keyboard for extended periods of time. The BN as a braille display beats a stand-alone display by a mile! It's so nice to be able to sit back and use the hot keys and thumb keys to navigate email or web pages! Reading braille documents is wonderful, too.

Subject: [Braillenote] Braillenote qt as braille terminal

What do you guys think of using a qt32 as a braille terminal? I find
using the sdfjkl keys would be awkward for extended periods of time, and
since most screen readers use commands on the display that are capible
of being brailled, this might be more of an issue.
