To read a word phoenetically, hold down read and press k twice.

Hi Kathy,

I don't use this feature much as I rely on braille, but try read with comma to get the current letter.

If you do read with k it will read the current word. If you do read and press k twice quickly the word is spelled.

Doing read with comma will pronounce the current character and holding down read and pressing comma twice quickly will give you the phonetic
representation of that character.

Haven't figured out how to have the qt read a word and spell it phoneticly.


Bring up the online manual and use the index to find speech topics.

You might also want to take a quick look at review commands.

I got the information I just described from these two areas and tried it on my qt using 6.11.
