All it takes to skip the bookshare notice is to do a fine and type begin
in grade 2 braille.

commands:

Hi all,

Mary Ellen, I haven't found anything in the way of a keystroke for
Bookshare books to skip all the gunk at the top, except one thing. If
you do a find and look for 'begin content', you'll be right at the
beginning of the book. I suppose I shouldn't tell you this because
the Bookshare folks want you to be sure to read all the gunk at the
top of their books. It's usually about ten pages into the book, but
searching for 'begin content', I find works best.

As for your other question, try space or back space or space with dots
4-6 and 1-3 respectively.
