OK OK but it's not totally on topic. I teethed on the Univac card sorter,
programmed the IBM 360 and 370 and the PDP-10 in college 67-72, Took the
programming class for blind programmers at Systems Development
Corporation SDC in Santa Monica in 72 in preparation to go work for
Hulette Packard as their recruiter in 73, but I went to work for X/PERT
Visual Aids makers of CCTV's instead, Then programmed the Tandy Color
Computer and desktop whatever Trash 80 of some kind, and a mini computer
Alpha Micro for several years, then into IBM PC land and up through the
history of WINDOWS . Last year I finally got into building PC's.
So the relevance to this list is that I speak from some experience and
background when I speak, and I've worked in the access technology field
since 72 and participated in developing access technology including CCTV's
Screen Readers, and Screen magnifiers since then.
