Dear Frank,

First you will need to translate the grade 2 document into text. Open the text document. Go to the braille translation settings menu. Go to the option: "grade to use when translating into braille". Type 1 for grade 1. Now, translate the text document into braille. It will be in grade 1 braille.

Subject: [Braillenote] translation from grade II to Grade I, a question

Maybe you can help me with this?

I would like to teach some children how to read BRAILLE.
I have an embosser that I would like to make BRAILLE work sheets with.

Is there a way that I could take a document that's already created, say a Keysofft Grade II BRAILLE document and translate it into a grade I. document?

I've been going to the documents and "FINDING and REPLACEING" contractions, this takes a long time.

Any IDEAS???

Frank M. Hernandez.
Tucson, Arizona.
