This answers the question then. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Michael May Sent: Wednesday, September 21, 2005 4:29 PM To: GPS-talkusers-freelists.org Subject: [gps-talkusers] ejecting the CF card from the BrailleNote
The BrailleNote manual recommends that one remove a compact flash or micro drive from the BrailleNote when you have the unit switched off. I have pretty much ignored this advice with regard the the compact flash card because no obvious problems occurred. However, I am now convinced that leaving the CF card in the slot all the time, particularly overnight or for a long time, will contribute to a greater number of exception errors. We advise getting in the habit of popping cards out of their respective slots when turning the BrailleNote off. Mike Michael G.
