Hi, all. Well, the upgrade is done, and went very well. It was a bit scary while I was getting ready for it, because without thinking, I started to insert my SD card into the compact flash slot, and the card disappeared. I turned the mPower upside down, and didn't feel the card fall out, so I had all kinds of horrid visions of having to send the unit in, etc. Fortunately, my sighted husband was around, and he saw that the SD card had fallen into the zipper part of the case, which I didn't realize I'd left open. So once the card was found, the upgrade went without a hitch. I was a bit nervous reading the display, especially when it said "erasing". I take it it erases the previous image before writing the new one. I, like Pam, wondered what would happen if there was a power failure in the middle of an upgrade. <shudder> Fortunately, that didn't happen, and now I can relax until the next upgrade, which I hope is a .zip file. I told my computer guru about my problem upgrading, and he said a lot of ISP's and computer security systems won't let .bin files through, because it increases the chance of something getting through that you wouldn't want. So I really encourage Humanware to make upgrades available as .zip files. Thanks to all of you, especially Kylee, for your help to Pam and me.

Peggy
