Hi Matthew, If you order another identical serial cable, there is no reason why the voice synthesizer mode wouldn't work.
However, you need to be aware that Activesync won't work with all serial cables. This is due to the different cable configurations that are available. I'm not able to advise the list on how to ensure that the serial cable being purchased will work with Activesync and the information supplied with most if not all cables wouldn't be sufficient to tell.
