Kathy, I recently read your post and I think I understand what do you mean "flip". You mean you wish to command it to change 180 degree without change the device. If yes, I never thought of it.
Your explain is great for both braille users, but not for the braille user with other non-braille user. Anyway, PK has the bluetooth. So my goal to have more bluetooth devices around my PK for the communication. That was why I wanted it to use with my clients. I could hold it on my hand, Braille with the other hand and let them read the braille as it went by on the single cell. I just wanted the abilit to flip the signal to the cell so thei could read with their hand coming towards me at the top of the braillemate as I was looking at it rather than our 3 hands coming from the same side with us cheek to jowel so to speak. It would have been easy just to do like a chord f and have the display flip dot 1 for dot 6 2 for 5 and so on. They couldn't see the use and wouldn't even try. > > I'll check your suggestion when I'm up tomorrow. I want to look at the devices you speak of online to see what they look like and how they'd handle in this application. > > ___ > To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit > http://list.humanware.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote >
