Hi Pam,

I have a QT, and I just learned yesterday that Control with
Backslash will
pause the MPower from anywhere in Keysoft. The same combination
will start
it going again, so you never have to leave your document. I'm
very sure
there's a BT equivalent. Look in the user's guide, chapter 16.
It's there,
promise!

Rachael

Subject: [Braillenote] Taking notes from recordings

Hi,

I recorded some of my Newsreel magazines onto the computer and
transferred
them to my SD card. While listening to them on my MPower, I'd
like to
take notes every now and then, copying down recipes and such.
Now if I'm
in key word listening and writing away, and the audio gets ahead
of my
writing, is there a way to pause the media player from within
key word? Or
do I have to go into the task menu to the media player, pause
it, go back
into keyword to write, and then back into the media player to
resume?
Thanks.

Pam
