Monica, you ought to be the poster child for the PK. You have gotten
used to the keyboard? Everybody here had thumbs down on the keyboard; I
wrote pages of what looked like Sanskrit trying to take notes with it in
a meeting. Give me my old familiar BrailleNote BT keyboard. To each her
own.

Subject: Re: [Braillenote] More observations about the pk:

Again, I agree. I find the PK to be very fast with transferring files
and
books. I'm taking a course From the Iowa Dept. for the blind. I
transferred
all my lesson files into the PK, and now I don't have to switch from
braille
book to braille book. I love the compactness of it as well. I think
that, if
I switched to something with a QWERTY keyboard, it wouldn't have the
compactness of the PK. However, I could very well be wrong about this.
Streaming would be nice, but it's not a huge concern with me for using
the
PK. I do like being able to wag my MP3's around though. (grin) The
recording
feature of the new unit appeals to me; I wouldn't mind if the PK had
this
capability as well.
