Hi KC and list,

I did download a zipped file into my PC thinking I'd need to transfer the finished file to my BN. It turned out I didn't need to use my PC at all. The BN has a very good clipboard system. Should you go on gutenberg, find and select your book. Check the link which says to read in HTML by pressing enter and you are in the book. Go to block commands menu, place the top of the block marker at the beginning of your book. this would be at the top of the file. Go to the end of the book or file and place the bottom block marker. Then press C to copy to clipboard. Go off line at this point. Create a new .txt file, paste your clipboard into that file and you have your book from Gutenberg.

I need to learn more about Gutenberg myself and its related sites. It is a very good source for books I'm certain.

Oops!
Jim, I apologize. I've never used a clipboard on the BN. As a result, I thought you were talking about a PC! BTW: NBP has a book that talks about sources of Ebooks. Gutenberg is one of those listed. However, the instructions are for the PC, so I didn't really read them. I did notice there are very secific commands for JFW and WE. Needless to say, given the problems you can run into doing this type of thing on a PC, I definitely agree that the Bn is the way to go!
