The battery in my classic BN did much the same thing after four years so had it replaced.

Mary Ellen,

I had this problem and it means a new battery is needed. As I recall, they
had to replace something else too.

Subject: [Braillenote] Battery and classic bn:

Hi folks!
I went back to my other residence in Ohio in September, intending to stay a
week and a medical emergency kept me there for 6 weeks. When I returned the
battery in the Braille Note Classic had run completely flat.
Ever since then the gauge has not calibrated and when I have run the machine

on its battery it only lasts about 10 minutes. No amount of resetting will
fix this it appears, I am bringing this up to find out if anyone else has
ever had such a problem.
