Hello Shelley,

First, ensure that you are in a document.  Next, enter the options menu and
press b for the Braille display options.  Change the preferred reading grade
to grade one from this menu by spacing to this option and pressing 1.  The
next option will be the text document reading grade.  This should be set to
preferred reading grade in which case, no change to this option is required.
Press escape and the settings should be as you desire them.
