Kathy,
The Braillenote uses windows ce software. It is not likely to pick up any 
viruses! this is the beauty of the notetaker. So if someone wants to leave 
a cookie on your system, why not tell them yes? It can't hurt. I use a DOS 
system daily and I always accept cookies because it gets me on the system. 
I never find cookies on my sytem though because my browser doesn't save 
them. My browser is Lynx(the cat) this is a unix browser.
many use a shell account to read and respond to their mail and use the PC 
to browse websites. I do this.
