Hello Leslie,

It is recommended that you use c4 to suspend and power on the PK as the c1c4
reset is a total hardware reset which will result in losing Bluetooth
pairing and Activesync data. There are also more software checks to ensure
data integrity when the PK is powered off and on in this manner.

The c3c4 reset is the equivalent of pressing the reset button on the other
BrailleNote products. Therefore you can also use 123 and 456 with these
buttons.

C3c4 will reboot the PC. A 456 reset will do exactly as c1c4 do but it
won't reset the hardware. A 123 reset will not load any files on the flash
disk at startup so that all files will run out of ROM.

Subject: [Braillenote] Reset???

I am pretty stupid among the resets. Many times I read your posts. The
reset is a magic. But, BUT, but, I do not know which one of 3 different
results.

I did read about it on the User's Guide manual but not understanding them. I
use C3 and C4 mostly. I think it might be similiar to PC's restart.

Please explain me in simply example of each reset of 3.

I still use C1 and C4 for the power on and off but not use C4 unless I
understand about the resets.
