Do no cards at all work in the bn? Otherwise, the backup and format idea might work. If you have a card reader, you could also do a chkdsk on the card by dropping to the dos prompt in xp and typing in chkdsk d: where d is the drive of your card.

Hi Will,
Do you have a flash card reader for the computer? I would back up any files to your hard drive from the card that you know you want to keep and then format the card and see if that makes a difference.

Then you can put back the files one by one and see if one of them is causing you problems.

Good luck,
Richard

Hi

If I am having this much damn trouble recognizing a compact flash card in my braillenote classic, running keysoft 5.1 build 22, how can I perform the upgrade to 6.11? Cant i delete a file that may be corrupt that is stopping the recognition of compact flash? It is driving me insane, as i will be purchasing the upgrade this week i hope to 6.1, and it will be a waste of money if ic an put ethernet cards in or wireless note, the PCMCIA slot works fine but i think i have done something to mess upt eh compact flash
