Hi Don,

Yes, that made sense. And, thanks to both you and Dean for clarifying
things for me. I think I will indeed just play it safe and use
ActiveSync/keysync for what I can, and then set up the rest manually.
Thanks again.

Hi Vicky,

You should certainly be able to move your data from the pk to the MPower.
I'd be careful about moving the dictionaries folder and possibly the
keylist,
keymail, and keyplan, but those keyxxxx folders might be okay to move.

I'd make a backup of the MPower first before you move things though just in
case. But, the data itself should be just fine.

If you sync your contacts between the pc and pk you should then be able to
sync between your pc and MPower to get all your contacts info into the
MPower.

What I think I'd personally do is to back up the folders containing your
data such as general and such on your flash disk by copying them to a flash
card and
then copying them back on to the MPower and not use the actual
backup/restore utility. That way you'd be sure you had all the right system
files on the
right bn family member.

I think I'd use activesync to do this as folder copies might be easier that
way provided you have a card reader.

Hope this makes sense. Maybe Dean will chime in if I screwed this up.
<grin>

Don
