Pam,

If you have a card reader in your PC, do it that way and ensure it's
formatted as "FAT". Even if it say it is, do it anyway. It can and
does make a difference to BN in some cases. It made an unreadable card
totally readable for me.

Subject: [Braillenote] SD cards

Hi,

Well, I'm beginning to wonder if these SD cards are going to prove to be
as tempermental as floppy disks. Perish the thought! My 1 gb SD card
works fine but my 256 mb card keeps giving me an error message.
Sometimes it says "unspecified error" and other times "can't read or
write to the specified device". Great. What could I do, try
reformatting it? And can I do that in the braillenote? Thanks. I tried
a regular reset but that didn't help.

Pam
