Hi, Ann, Rhonda, Sarah, someone, would you give the BT commands for pasting a
web address into a browser? I know what copying and pasting are, but I don't
understand what this does to help me read this type of file. Dean sent me the
caveat: Copy this to your web browser, and I thought what? I mean, how does
this help you read the Html file? I get some newsletters in Html which I open
and they say "equals etuals equals. Obviously they can't be read. I don't
mind putting the link that's referred to inthe top of the e-mail inthe
favorites area, obviously. However, that might not even be the right link to
read. I know how to put things in favorites, and I have many web addresses
there. I'm not sure how this allows me to read the file. I'm sure it's
something obvious, but I think I'm real tired right now, grin.
In regares to my audio files, they were not music. They were 20 audio
tutorials put inthe Start menu on my desktop, because I think the assistive
tech person who helped me thought it would be easy for me to find them. I
think that's where they were, anyway, grin. Ann P. (God bless her) and I will
probably be doing some practice sessions with regard to this and some other
things when I compile a list of things for her. She gave me some directions
too, and I must make myself sit down and practice. The audio file was a
tutorial written by Kathy Anne Murtha, from the Assistive Technology Institute
in Sacramento, I believe. The address is
wwwddassistivetechnologyinstituteddcom. I wear hearing aids, and the Mp3
player had a very high-quality sound. I don't know how to put music on my
flash card from the computer yet, but I'm getting a PTR1 (refurbished model,
and I already got the Braille manual. It'll be quite a learning curve, I
think, but I accept the challenge. I'll be
t other technogurus have had success with this gizmo and the Braille Note. I
decided not to transplant till my Braille Note Classic loan's paid down, and
bugs have been fixed.
Well, I thank every wonderful response of assistance I've received from this
list. Nancy
