Sarai,

Most of the commands are fairly obvious when going between the two units. For
instance, to get to the media player, one only has to press m from the main
menu, which works the same whether BT or QT. Space and backspace work the same
in both units, so even if you're not comfortable typing hotkeys, you can use
the same method for navigating menus and lists on both units. Keep the
following firmly in mind, the help key on the QT is to the right of the control
key, which is where any sensible control key ought to be, on the bottom left
corner of the keyboard. Use that help key when ever you find yourself stuck,
and it will help you most of the time.

Hope this helps, and let me know if you have more questions.

BTW, just to let you know, I did get a USB to serial converter for my PC, and
now I'm back in business with using my BN as a Braille display and connecting
to ActiveSync. Thank you so much for all your assistance and suggestions.

Sarah

Subject: [Braillenote] BN QT Question

Hi,
I'm working with some one in Al who has a QT and I have a BT. What are
the command differences? Are there patterns between the commands of both
units? What are the major differences besides the obvious keyboard
layout and formatting of text documents? I helped this person unzip a
Bible on his QT and he wants help with the Media player. I'm not
comfortable enough with the commands and want a heads up so we don't
have to spend time figuring out the differences.
Thanks,

Sarai D. Bucciarelli
