HI,

You need to turn the highlight attribute off and also any other attributes
that Jaws is highlighting. Jaws is I believe by default set to show you any
colour change and show you any text that is highlighted etc. These are
usually represented by a combination of dots usually shown below the line of
your actual real text. I've always found that it is a good idea to have
your display set to six dots and have your cursors only represented by
either dot 7 or dot 8. These options are all in the Jaws Braille options
found in config manager.

Subject: [Braillenote] braille note with jaws

Hi everyone,
Sorry if this is off-topic, but I was wondering if anyone could help me.
I'm using my braille note with jaws, and have noticed that some things read
really strange with it. For example, when I read my email with eudora, it
has strange characters down below whatever is on the display. FOr example,
the display tells me the message is unread and the name of the sender and
subject, but it is cluttered by other dots and it makes is almost
immpossible to read.
Anyone have any idea what this is and how to get rid of them?
Thanks,
Steph
