I thought twice about sending this to the list but I have decided that it's
not off topic because if these instructions are used, unnecessary traffic
could possibly be reduced on the list.
Replying privately to a message on a list.
1. Open the message of the person that you want to reply to privately.
2. Hold down the alt key and press the number 1 on the num row twice
rapidly.
3. Press control A to select the address, then control C to copy the
address to the clipboard.
Now there are two things you can do.
1. If you want to send a new message to the person, press control N for
new
message.
2. Press control V in the to field to paste the address of the person you
copied.
1. If you wish to reply to the person privately, but include the message
you are reading, press control R.
2. Shift tab back to the to field.
3. Press control A to select the BrailleNote list email address.
4. Press the delete key to delete the BrailleNote list email address.
5. Press control V to paste in the email address of the person you wish
to
reply to privately.
I do this all the time and it works! I'm using JAWS so I don't know how
Window Eyes users would do this.
