No, now remember that a lot depends on the accuracy. Especially the
accuracy of the maps. Remember that the maps weren't drawn exactly by
some one with a GPS unit so to speak.

No, it won't replace a cane or a dog.  I think some sales people give
false impressions as to how useful and/or accurate it can be. Try it in
downtown Manhattan, where the skyscrapers block the signal!

    I've used the GPS before, and it only got me to the driveway.  Not
much 
help when there's about 4 businesses in the same parking lot.
