Hi Melanie, To connect to a network, you will need a network card. If your network has wireless, you can buy a Cisco Aironet or an Ambicom WL1100 and connect to the network wirelessly. Otherwise, you will need to buy a network card that has an Ethernet cable on the end that plugs into your LAN. You then insert the card into your BN and plug the other end into the hub or router on your network. You then go into the connectivity menu and create a network configuration for your network. Once this is done, you will be able to use the web browser. To download books from Bookshare, go to www.bookshare.org from the Internet menu and type in your E-mail address and password. The BN cannot read the KES files created by Kurzweil. If you want to read something scanned by Kurzweil, save the file as either a text, Word or RTF file from within Kurzweil. Hope this helps. Sam

My main objective for this task right now is to connect to Bookshare and download books. I suppose I could also download the books to my PC then put them on the BN. Also, does the BN support Kurzweil files or do I need to save the Kurzweil file as a text document to read it on the BN?
