Hi Don,

Can you refresh my memory as to how to find one's WEP key in order to enter
it on the mPower? Thanks.
Best Regards,

Les

Hi Wendy,

Robert makes a very good point about deleting your configuration and
starting over. I've found that for some reason you can get far better
connections if you let the MPower create the entry for your connection
configuration as opposed to entering the settings manually.

Just do a scan for network as Robert suggested and then only change the wep
from no to yes and enter the key.

Another thing, it's best to manually set up the key within your router
rather than letting it choose a key for you. That way, you can select a key
which is easier to enter into the MPower. You can use all numbers plus the
letters a through f in the wep key. I'd recommend that if you do use
letters that you use lowercase since they're easier to enter into the
MPower.

Of course, if you have other devices such as computers connected to your
wireless network you would have to change the wep key for them.

Finally, many routers will let you define something like 4 different wep
keys. However, the MPower only looks at the first one so that's the one you
have to use for connecting the MPower to the network.

If you only use one wep key anyway, you can ignore what I just said.
