I'm afraid I'm not going to be a bit of help with BookShare, as I haven't turned in whatever to show proof of disability yet. But, when I got the PK and Nokia 6620 cell phone working with Cingular, I didn't have to download anything at all, just filled in the necessary settings on the PK, plus some other goofy step that we've talked about on the list here before. But, those data plans can get expensive for larger files. I am wondering, since I haven't got the pk set up to do e-mail, is it possible to download something like the newest Harry Potter book onto the pc then move it to a flash card where it can be unpacked by the bookshare utility on the pk or would it be better to unpack it on the pc and move it over afterwards? I actually have never downloaded and unpacked books on the pc, choosing instead the portabilityand ease of the Braille Note but since they at cingular tell me I have to download something to get the pk set up and I basically have no way to download since they were too chincy to provide me with a cable without charging fort Knox, I was simply wondering if it is possible to download and move books this way.
