Hi,

When you send your unit in send it with the original case.  The MPower will 
come in its own case.  You do not need to send in the charger since it will 
work with the MPower as well.  As for cleaning I was told that they clean the 
display and service it to make sure it works before they do the transplant.  My 
friend sent his on Tuesday of last week and got it today so basically 8 days he 
was without it.  Hope this answers your questions.
