For those who are confused about downloading the patch, I did for your
knowledge, downloaded the patch with my MPower bt 32 unit, using my ambicom
wireless card and my wireless dls router, and directed it to the SD 512 mb
SD card, which was already formatted to fat 16 as per HumanWare instructions.
It took under one half hour, but I didn't watch the clock, since I am
watching the New England verses Colts football game on monday night football.
About usb reader/writer external drives, I bought them for under $20 from
buy.com and they are 2.0 usb compatible, and have four different slots, one
being SD and the other I use is CF.
So you can easily do the keysoft 6.2 built 25 patch with your MPower and
never need a Computer, unlike other competitor's pda's on the market for
blind persons.
For your knowledge, some dealer's including me offer free SD cards or
wireless cards and keysoft sma's with every purchase of a MPower braillenotes.
Even HumanWare has offered free shipping or free wireless cards from time
to time with a purchase of a BrailleNote.
