Hi Alicia and welcome to the list. You'll find a lot of helpful hints and
tips concerning the use of the braille note. My recommendation on a
wireless card would be to purchase it through Humanware. I did this because
I wanted to be sure to get one that would work in the braille note. I
couldn't stand the thought of ordering a wireless card from somewhere only
to find out that it wouldn't work. I figured that if Humanware is selling
wireless cards then they must be work in braille notes. The one I got is
made by ambicom but I don't know the exact model number. So again, welcome
to the list and enjoy that new braille note mpower. It is really an amazing
machine.

Subject: [Braillenote] Alicia's Introduction, and first question

Hello, everyone! I have just received my new BrailleNote mPower, and so
wanted to join this list. while I am able to use the basic functions of the
BrailleNote, there's a lot that I'm not familiar with, so I'm sure I'll be
posting lots of questions to the list over the next couple weeks. Grin.

My name is Alicia, I'm 25, and from Iowa. I've known for a few years that
whenever I got a new note-taker, I wanted it to be a BrailleNote, and now
that day is here. I do have one question right off the bat. I know the
BrailleNote has wireless internet capability, if you buy the wireless card.
However, I cannot find which specific kind of card is needed. Could someone
pleas tell me? thank you! I look forward to getting to know other BN users!

Alicia
