Hi, Jim:

If you are a BT, at the "from field" prompt, press Bcckspace with K. You will see "copied to Clipboard." You do have to put that information somewhere, though. You can either make a folder called "someday I'll do this", or whatever you want. It's almost easier to put it in the Address Book while you're doing it. You would put the last name and first name in, go down to the "email address prompt, and press Backspace V. Whereever you put it, the first and last name are there. If you're just putting it in a folder, you can leave it like that. Otherwise, if it's in the "address book", you need to press your 2,5 chord to delete the words before the less-than sign. Then, put your cursor on the first letter, and backspace out the less-than sign. Use your 4,6 chord to go to the end of the document, Backspace out the "greater-than sign." If you want to reply to that message without saving it, paste it to the clipboard as I said in the beginning. Go to your "write an email" prompt, and press Backspace V. It will be in your "to field."
Sorry for such a lengthy answer.

Subject: [Braillenote] Email Header question

Hello all,

This might be a good Rhonda Clark question (grin smile)! A
friend of mine
wants to know whether there is a way to save or paste an Email
address in
the "from field" while in the header information of an email to
eventually
place in the address list where it would be used at a later time?
I told
him to reply to the Email and save a copy of his reply. I can't
recall
whether that goes to a file or another Email since I rarely save
a
copy. If the address could be retrieved from the header
information
somehow and used later as it was written there, that could come
in handy!

Jim Aldrich
