Hi Peggy, generally, a press of the battery status hotkey a second time 
will give you the battery status.

So Jonathan, when do we know the mPower is telling the truth?  If it 
really needs to be calibrated, will the "no status" message 
continue?  Nothing like a lying BrailleNote!  <grin>
