Sarah,
Are you discribing the PK QT? The layout of keys does not reflect what my BNQT looks like.

Isaac, There are a number of extra keys on the qwerty keyboard including the functionkey, main menu key, help key, control key, read key, and tilda key, the arrow keys, backspace, and escape. The right shift is where you expect to find the slash andor questionmark key and that key is out beyond the up arrow to the right. If I was teaching someone the q t I'd show them the "k" function at the main menu as this teaches the keys so they can fish rather than being given a tuna sandwich. Two keys left of the spacebar is the main menu key. tap it from anywhere and you're in the main menu. Then use the "k" key and you can type any key and get its function. The escape key is in the upper left corner next to the 1, and takes you out of this keylearn mode.

You might want to put loc dots on the ESCAPE and Right Shift as reminders they are possibly unexpected. The right shift is where a touchtypist goes for the questionmark, and the ESCAPE where you're aiming for the 1 key so it takes a bit of hand training.

The other thing you'll want right awayis the option combination which is reached with the function key, the one with a dot just to the left of the spacebar, and the "o". There are already dots on the 3, 7, 0, i, f, j, and function keys.

Hope this helps. He looks smartest who knows where to find the answers.
