HI Vicki, I tend to do the same as you, that is, read the messages, reply to the ones I wish to reply to, and move them to the trash one by one, before sending all my replies at once. If I come across a message I wish to keep, I just leave it as is in the inbox. I usually receive anything from 150 to 200 messages per day, and since I am using dial-up, these are usually downloaded in less than 10 minutes. The most emails I had to download during one particular session was around 650 or so, using Keysoft 5.1, and this took just over an hour, as a lock-up occurred in the process. David
