Shannon, Congratulation on a mighty big win. Absolutely you can transfer files from and to your pc. You can, I am told, do it 3 different ways. wirelessly with an addition of a wifi card, Bluetooth if your computer has a bluetooth card and by good ol usb cable. That is what is so exciting about this new machine is we are at last able to use usb and plug and play with such a portable device.

Subject: [Braillenote] a completely novice question

Hello. As a very brief introduction, my name is Shannon Reece and I live in
Southern Nevada. I received my VoiceNote mPower BT today and have spent
much time reading the getting started manual and the onboard user guide. I
like how it's laid out and it's already answered a bucketload of my
questions.
But since I never dreamed I'd even have an mPower--I won it at the ACB
banquet during convention--I do have one question that I believe I know the answer to but I cannot find it in the user guide. May I use the USB port to connect the mPower to my computer and transfer things onto it this way? Yes
I do have a LAN network but since I wouldn't want to access anything from
the other computers on the network save my own, using the USB port makes
more sense to me.
I really am very new at USB and other ways of connecting two devices
together, so please forgive and indulge my ignorance.
Thank you very kindly in advance,
Shannon
