Hi Dean,
Any chance the similar loss of speech on the PK will be resolved in Keysoft 7?
It may not be as frequent as with the mPowers, but it is rather
annoying to have to re-set to get speech back at most inconvenient times.

Humanware is proud to inform customers that a new build of KeySoft 6.2 has
been posted to the BrailleNote downloads section of the Humanware website
for BrailleNote and VoiceNote mPower users, allowing customers to upgrade
immediately.
Recently, there was some discussion on the BrailleNote discussion email
list concerning regular speech loss while working on the BrailleNote
mPower and how disconcerting this is for VoiceNote users. We have taken
this, along with other feedback recently received, very seriously, hence
making this KeySoft patch available today. KeySoft 6.2 build 26, is the
same as the previous build, the difference being a modification in the
audio driver, preventing the regular speech loss previously mentioned.
Please note that an SD card of 512 MB or less in total capacity is
required to run the upgrade. Full instructions, along with the associated
image file, can be found at the following website address:

Please do not hesitate to direct any queries to me regarding this
announcement. Any problems encountered during the software upgrade
process, should be raised with your nearest Humanware office.
