Hi

I have had this on several occasions. It has occurred when I do a reset some
times. It may happen after the main menu comes up, or when I open the
e-mail. Does not happen every time. When I am entering the e-mail and I get
the message, I just continue on as usual and it will connect to the wireless
card and download e-mail. It happened after I had the unit on for some time
and I was in the book reader enjoying book. Well, all of a sudden I got a
bong, and the message printed below. Life goes on but I don't know why it is
happening.

Sue Mangis
message message from braille note a sound then it says windows ce
networking: dhcp was unable to obtain an ip address. if the netcard is
removeable, then you can remove/reinsert it to have dhcp make another
attempt to obtain an ip address for it. otherwise, you can statically assign
an address.
I pressed enter and it went on to ask me connect to which configeration and
went on about it's way.

the "REAL BELL: I just heard from my VNQT? I was just tryig to connect to my
wireless network and the speaker let out with a bong like the bell ending
the 3rd round in the big fight. Not the nice little reset chimes. And the
volume was like twice everything else I'd heard. Clang Clang Clang went the
trolley? The error message I got was to remove and retry the wireless card
because windows something or another was unable to assign an ip address. or
something like that. It went by pretty quickly. And I was overwhelmed by the
clang. It was truly alarming.
