Hi Jean,

Yes, thankfully it did start right away once plugged in. Every now
again I get this strange message about being unable to determine
percentage and that the battery may need to be calibrated; but then
the next time I check it gives me the percent, so I don't know. I'll
have to watch more closely this time in case it dies without warning
again. It said it was at zero percent once I plugged it in.

By the way, my mpower woke us up this morning. That's pretty cool that
the unit doesn't have to be on for the alarm to sound.
