Hi Theresa,
Have you already set up your ActiveSync connection? If so, go to your
desktop and highlight the folder with your arrow keys. Press ctrl-x to
cut the folder to the clipboard. Next, attach the serial cable between
your BrailleNote and PC and switch on your BN. Go to the utilities menu,
then choose "connect to ActiveSync." Once you hear tones from both the
BrailleNote and PC confirming that a connection was established, go to
your pc and alt-tab if necessary to the ActiveSync window. If a "new
partnership dialog" appears, arrow down to no if you don't want to
synchronize files or contacts and hit enter. Then go to the file menu and
choose explore. A new window will open where you can see your
BrailleNote. If you see something that says "my handhelp PC," hit space
to select it and hit enter. Choose Flash Disk from the list and hit
enter. In the flash disk window, hit ctrl-v to paste the folder
containing your product key onto the flash disk.
